Experience YouTubeTM in Productivity Mode
If you are a YouTube user, and often find yourself lost in the massive amount of videos on YouTube, we are happy to introduce you to our Productivity Mode for YouTube™.
We all know how easily distracted we are and YouTube is a place where this is even worse. The recommended videos, comments and playlists all distract us and leave us with less time to get work done.
We were inspired by Nir Eyal's Indistractable book to create a Productivity Mode for YouTube. As the name suggests, this Productivity Mode is all about eliminating all of the external triggers that will get you into a loop of clicking on things.
In Productivity Mode, you will have no external triggers such as recommended videos, comments, playlists or likes. All you will see is a black background and you will have no option to like or dislike videos or get any kind of notification.
This way, you will be able to stay focused and not get distracted.
Please note, that you can still use the rest of the features of YouTube™ including the search, playlists, subscriptions, commenting and liking on your videos.
If you are a creator on YouTube, and you don't want to let Productivity Mode in Leisure Mode, you can opt in to Productivity Mode by going to the YouTube™ Creators page, clicking on "Productivity Mode" under "Settings".
